McClure Construction from Waterford, CT contacted Rockster’s US dealer Equip Sales and Leasing Corp after attending the US demo show in September about renting an impactor and stacker to process a pile of concrete and virgin stone he had accumulated at his yard.
“We were able to crush approx. 25,000 tons of material in a month’s time, making a 1 1/4″ process material which we will resell to our customers. Thanks to the closed circuit system on the impact crusher R1100DS and the stacking capabilities of the mobile conveyor RST18, we just needed one excavator to feed the crusher and one dozer to push material toward excavator, cutting our excessive material handling costs”, the customer says.
Rockster dealer Equip Sales and Leasing Corp was contacted by Walsh Construction a large national contracting firm who was working on a water treatment substation in Middletown, CT. They needed a more effective way to spread 2″ clean stone into a 40′ deep excavated area that was filled with pilings they had to work around.
The Rockster Stacker RST18 allowed them to spread material in a timely manner, that would have needed to be handled by multiply machines otherwise, this cut out unnecessary machine time resulting in the job being completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
